Farm Holiday in Salento

The Bosco di Mudonato Agritourism is located in the Apulia region of Southern Italy, in the heart of Salento, only a few kilometres away from the famous Punta Prosciutto inlet. The farmhouse is at the centre of an ancient estate where centuries-old olive trees seem to extend out to the horizon in every direction, and is surrounded by towering hundred-year-old oak trees.
It is close to all of the most interesting artistic and archaeological destinations. Whitewashed walls and an open, airy Mediterranean-style architecture characterize this tree-shaded residence. A watchtower serves as a reminder that the Ionian Sea is close by and adds a pleasant seaside feeling to the farmhouse.

  • Where are you located?
    We are located in Apulia, in the commune of Avetrana. The agritourism is on the Provincial Road 144, in the direction of Salice Salentino, at about 3 km distance from Avetrana.
  • How is your estate divided?
    The Ancient Masseria contains 3 apartments. At 600 metres, in the Main House in the Forest are 6 rooms, the guesthouse, and a pool.
  • Is there also a restaurant at the agritourism?
    No. In the apartments you will find large comfortable kitchens, complete with refrigerator, freezer, cook top and oven.
  • Should I bring my own bed coverings?
    Bed coverings are not included in the apartments. Otherwise, it is not necessary to bring anything from home. In your apartment you will find everything that you need; bath and kitchen towels, kitchen tools.
  • How far away are the stores?
    There is a supermarket 5 minutes away. You can also find a chemists, newspaper stand, cafe, bank, post office, and bakery close by.
  • Where is the closest hospital?
    The closest hospital, including emergency care services, is in Manduria (about 11 km away.)
  • How can I reserve a room or apartment?

Rates are variables based to season, to the apartment booked and based on composition of the family. These refer to the standard rent up to 4 people. Prices change if guests exceed the 4 occupants of the apartment.
